How to listen

It’s super easy to listen to Drift Radio and we’ll detail the ways below. You can listen anywhere via your phone with or without headphones or at home on your smart speaker or TV. We belive in making radio accessible and continually develop and test new methods which will be updated here.

LIstening with a Smart Phone

There are many ways to listen on your smart phone, this is a very convenient and portable way to listen with the added benefit of being able to easily use bluetooth or wired headphones. We tune in while out for walks, at the gym or chiling at the beach.
The easiest way to listen on your phone is from the front page of the www.drift.radio website with the in-built player but you can also find us on many of the radio directory websites, drop us a message if we aren’t on your favourite one!

Tune in on your Smart speaker

Using an Amazon Alexa device via our Alexa skill is as simple as saying:

“Alexa, enable the Drift Radio skill”

This will set your device up so that it can receive Drift Radio, all you need to say in the future is:

“Alexa, play Drift Radio”

And to stop the radio simply say:

“Alexa, stop”

We are currently developing a skill so that you can easily tune in using the Google Home devices, watch this space!

Accessing your favourite station from a computer

You can visit the www.drift.radio website on your computer using your preferred Internet browser and then use the player to listen to the radio. You can also browse around and check the schedule and any news articles.

We’re on the big screen – listening via TV

If you have an Amazon Fire Stick or compatible TV, you can simply say “play Drift Radio” using the voice-command on the remote control, for other Smart TV’s you should be able to use the media player app and connect using our streaming URL below.

Sonos speakers – we have you covered

• Using the Sonos App for iOS or Android:
• From the Browse tab, select TuneIn.
• Tap My Radio Stations.
• Tap the three dots in the top right and tap Add New Radio Station.
• Enter the Streaming URL (info below) and Station Name (Drift Radio) and tap OK.
• The station will be listed and available in the My Radio Stations section under TuneIn.

The soundtrack to your drive – in the car

One of the easiest ways to listen in the car is via Bluetooth audio from your phone, so simply follow the same instructions as listening from your phone, but ensure that your phone is connected to your car’s Bluetooth. Remember, don’t use your phone whilst driving!

The streaming URL – works with almost anything!

Using our streaming URL you should be able to listen from almost any Internet connected media player software or device, you simply need to add a new station or channel and use the following details:
